Popular actor Choi Min-sik will star in the new Netflix suspense drama "Notes from the Last Row" alongside rising star Choi Hyun-wook. The series is based on the famous Spanish play "El Chico de la última fila (The Boy in the Last Row)."
This is the story of Heo Mun-oh, a literature-loving teacher and former failed writer, who is attracted to the talent of Lee Kang, a mysterious student who always sits in the back row of the class. Over time, Mun-oh teaches a special literature class to Lee Kang, which rekindles his love for writing.
Choi Min-sik, known for his excellent acting in the movie "Oldboy," will play Mun-oh. Choi Hyun-wook will play Lee Kang, an engineering student with a unique talent for literature. The cast also includes Huh Joon-ho, Kim Yun-jin, and Jin Kyung, and it will be directed by Kim Gyu-tae of popular shows such as "Moon Lovers" and "Our Blues."
There is no exact release date from Netflix yet, but many fans are already looking forward to it.
