Porsche has released a teaser for the new 963 RSP Hypercar—a one-off endurance vehicle that could also be road legal. The new name was officially revealed in an ASMR-style video that shows the car's every detail being built....
The video shows Porsche's artisans weaving custom upholstery, sanding carbon-fiber panels, and hand-painting. Finally, they attached the genuine Porsche crest to the hood—a far cry from the race car's sticker badge to keep it lightweight.
Although there are no official specs yet, it is expected to use a twin-turbo V8 hybrid engine like the 963 endurance racer. Also, the name RSP may refer to Roger S. Penske, the head of Porsche's successful endurance team.
Only one piece of the 963 RSP will be made, so its official debut is expected to happen before the 2025 24 Hours of Le Mans on June 14.
This is perhaps one of Porsche's most special models—a blend of performance, craftsmanship, and legacy in the world of motorsport.
