Netflix has released a first look at Tony Tony Chopper for the live-action One Piece Season 2. In Netflix Tudum 2025, a teaser was shown where his red hat and horns can be seen, signaling his entry into the Drum Island arc. Here he will first join Luffy and the Straw Hat crew as their doctor.
Chopper was voiced by Mikaela Hoover and created using facial capture and advanced VFX. According to Netflix, Eiichiro Oda's original design was retained—from his fur, face, and strange gestures. Bringing his cartoonish look to the real world was a huge challenge, making it one of the most anticipated parts of Season 2.
Along with Chopper's appearance, Season 2 will also feature well-known arcs such as Loguetown, Reverse Mountain, Whiskey Peak, Little Garden, and Drum Island. Many new friends and foes will be introduced, further expanding the world of One Piece.
Season 2 of One Piece is set to premiere in 2026, and many are already excited about the full trailer and additional casting.
