A mother in Camarines Sur was arrested after allegedly pimping her six minor children online. According to a report by the NBI-Violence Against Women and Children Division (NBI-VAWCD), they received information about a Filipina selling pornographic videos of her children to foreigners.
The suspect was caught in an entrapment operation while doing a live show with his children. According to Atty. Yehlen Agus of the NBI, since 2024, the mother has been using her children for online shows. Among the items seized were five cellphones with sensitive photos and videos.
They reportedly earn $100 or almost P6,000 per show. Both parents are unemployed, so this is their livelihood. The NBI rescued six children, including the youngest child, 2 years old.
It is still being investigated whether the youngest child was also a victim of abuse. According to the NBI, this has a great impact on the minds of children. Such videos can spread online and cause deeper trauma.
The cases filed against the mother are without bail. The children are currently in the care of city social workers while they undergo counseling to recover from the abuse they suffered.
