Authorities obtained CCTV footage showing a man wearing a delivery rider uniform leaving Maria Jose's house at the time of the shooting. Complaints have also been filed against the suspect for making threats.
As a result, the case is being vigorously investigated to find those responsible. Maria Jose's death follows the shooting of Valeria Marquez, a beauty influencer who was shot while livestreaming on TikTok. The incident is being treated as a femicide, according to local officials.
