A popular vlogger @mrwn released a 22-minute video in which he showed a scam operation in Barangay Apas, Cebu City. Since it was posted on May 18, 2025, it has been going viral online.
@mrwn gained remote access to the scammers' CCTV and explained how their modus works, as well as the huge harm done to victims. In addition, he was able to trace the location of the alleged scam center.
Not only that, he also confronted the alleged scammers personally while the CCTV was live, thus strengthening the evidence against them. This is a good reminder to be alert to these types of scams.
