India launched Operation Sindoor in retaliation for the Pahalgam attack on April 22, in which 26 people were killed. The operation targeted terrorist camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir (PoK).
The Indian Armed Forces used advanced weapons such as loitering munitions to destroy the bases of Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) and Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT).
According to the Indian Ministry of Defense, the attacks were planned and ensured that Pakistan's military facilities would not be hit.
The Pakistan military confirmed that there were missile strikes in the areas of Kotli, Bahawalpur, Muridke, Bagh, and Muzaffarabad, which caused high tension in the two countries.
Pakistan's Defense Minister has warned that the situation could escalate into all-out war if India continues with this move.
