The two Chinese nationals were arrested by the Philippine National Police (PNP) for a kidnapping case in Nasugbu, Batangas. The suspects were identified as Huang Yuze, 27, and Zhao Li Shan, 29, following an operation by the Anti-Kidnapping Group and Police Regional Office 4A in Bacoor, Cavite. The suspects allegedly attempted to flee when they were stopped at a checkpoint, but authorities quickly caught up with them....
The kidnapping incident occurred on May 2 in Barangay Balaytigue, Nasugbu, where three foreigners, two Chinese and one Korean, as well as two Filipinos, were abducted. The victims were released the next day after ransom negotiations.
The suspects have been presented before the Department of Justice for inquest proceedings and will face charges of kidnapping, illegal possession of firearms, and other related charges.
