Pasig City residents can expect a new kind of hospital services where patients will no more fees. According to mayoralty candidate Sarah Discaya, the city can fund the Zero Billing Program because Pasig has sufficient income.
Ate Sarah's statement, “My dream is a hospital without a cashier — where patients can be admitted, given medicine, cared for by doctors and nurses, and sent home without having to worry about the bill. City Hall will answer.”
If he wins the elections on May 12, he will immediately build a modern 11-story hospital under his Team Sarah's Smart Hospital project. It targets free treatment and high-tech facilities for all.
Discaya added, “The right to life and health is for everyone — rich or poor. Here in Pasig, I want everyone to feel that there is honest service, without charging.”
He also said a new hospital is really needed because the city's population is growing but no new one has been built yet. So in the Smart Hospital plan, there is complete equipment, specialized doctors, and sufficient medicine for the people of Pasigueños.
