A man named Maximo Robin died the same day he bought a new motorcycle. While riding it, he suddenly hit an electric pole in San Ildefonzo, Ilocos Sur.
He suffered severe head and body injuries due to the force of the collision. According to police, it is possible that he had not yet mastered the motorcycle and he had also consumed alcohol which is why the accident occurred.
The victim lost his son. The family was deeply saddened by the sudden incident.
Police remind to be careful when driving, especially now and accidents increase during the Christmas season.
