A 25-year-old man and a 16-year-old boy were arrested after allegedly raping a 17-year-old woman in Brgy. Apas, Cebu City early on Thursday, April 24.
According to the police, the victim was drunk when the two suspects took him to a dark and abandoned house after they had drinking with other people.
The girl's story is that she tried to refuse and ask for help, but because she was drunk and weak, she couldn't fight back. The two men forced her to undress and rape her.
The incident occurred around 1:00 a.m. and was reported to the police 6:30 a.m. Authorities immediately conducted a hot-pursuit operation.
“Jun,” 25 years old, and his 16-year-old companion were arrested at their respective homes on the same day.
Habang nasa kustodiya na ngayon ang dalawang suspek sa Mabolo Police Station, ang biktima naman ay isinailalim sa stress debriefing.
Authorities are preparing rape cases against the two suspects.
The police remind young people, especially women, to be careful with drinks because it can cause dangerous situations.
