The famous vlogger Diwata was arrested after allegedly having an issue with non-compliance related to the operation of her business. According to her statement, she was surprised by the arrest because she allegedly did not receive any prior notice or subpoena before the warrant was issued.
Diwata shared that she was very disappointed with what happened, especially since she insisted that she was ready to correct any shortcomings if they were properly communicated. She said that her pairs business was small and the income was only enough for daily needs, sometimes even going into debt.
Due to the ongoing case, the vlogger chose not to go into details but confirmed that she was temporarily released after posting bail of P60,000 24 hours later. Diwata first rose to fame with her Diwata Pares which went viral for its affordable prices and generous servings, and later also appeared in the series Batang Quiapo, further cementing her presence in the entertainment industry.
