The new Canon EOS C50 has been officially released in the Philippines and is priced at Php 189,998. This follows the release of the EOS R6 Mark III, and the C50 is aimed at serious videographers.

Using RF lenses, the C50 has a 32-megapixel sensor that can record 7K60 internal RAW and Open Gate for various video platforms. It can also shoot 4K 120FPS for slow-motion and has up to 16 stops dynamic range in Super35 and 15+ stops in Full Frame.
In addition to RF lenses, EF and PL mount lenses can also be used using optional adapters. It comes with an XLR handle for more complete ports and controls, and has built-in fans for long shooting sessions even in hot conditions.
The Canon EOS C50 comes bundled with an XLR Handle and an extra LP-E6P battery, making it ready for filmmaking at a price of Php 189,998.
