The former Mayor of Bamban Alice Leal Guo together with Jaimielyn Santos Cruz and Rachelle Joan Malonzo Carreon started their 5-day mandatory quarantine at the Reception and Diagnostic Center (RDC) of the Correctional Institution for Women (CIW) in Mandaluyong City.
According to the Bureau of Corrections (BuCor), they were transferred from the Pasig City Jail Women’s Dormitory on the night of December 5, 2025. The transfer was made under a Mittimus Order from Judge Annielyn B. Mendes-Cabels of the Regional Trial Court Branch 167.
Guo, also known as Guo Hua Ping, is assigned to Prison No. C225P-531, along with Cruz (C225P-530) and Carreon (C225P-529). They were sentenced to life imprisonment and a fine of P2 million for qualified trafficking.
While in quarantine, they will undergo a complete medical examination to ensure they are safe from other inmates. After 5 days, they will be transferred to the regular RDC dormitory where they will undergo a 55-day mandatory orientation, diagnostics, and assessment.
After a total 60-day process, they will be placed in the Maximum Security Camp, in accordance with the regulations for those sentenced to life imprisonment. According to BuCor Director General Gregorio Pio P.
