The P389M net worth of President Marcos Jr. and P88M wealth of VP Sara Duterte have continued to increase for three years, according to their SALN from 2022 to 2024 obtained from the Office of the Ombudsman.
In Marcos Jr.'s SALN, together with his wife Liza Araneta-Marcos, their net worth increased from P329.229M in 2022 to P389.357M in 2024. A large portion of this comes from real properties, cash on hand, money market investments, and jewelry, motor vehicles and paintings. They also continue to declare zero liabilities.
The Marcos family's assets also increased due to a new house in La Union, additional cash, and the purchase of agricultural lots in Ilocos Norte. The total value of their real properties reached P247.332M in 2024.
As for Sara Duterte, her net worth increased from P71.058M in 2022 to P88.512M in 2024. Most of her real properties, vehicles, and liabilities are in the name of her husband, Manases Carpio. Her wealth was increased by the purchase of three residential lots in Davao City in 2023 and 2024.
Despite the personal loans in his wife's name, the Vice President's net worth remained high due to the increase in his properties and personal items.
