Nissan Philippines is asking motorists not to wait for the new model and still buy the current Nissan Navara. According to their statement, there is no certainty yet when the all-new Navara, which has already been launched in Australia and New Zealand, will be released in the country.
The company said that each market has its own needs and conditions. That's why they are still studying when it is right to release the new pickup truck in the Philippines. They added that they continue to analyze market trends to ensure that their products are perfect for the tastes of Filipinos.
Many believe that Nissan Philippines is encouraging buyers not to wait for the new model because a large portion of their sales come from the Navara. There are still no discounts or promos being rolled out as part of the runout program for the current version.
There are also rumors that the new Mitsubishi Triton-based Navara will first be released in countries with stricter emission regulations, such as Australia and Oceania. Meanwhile, the current Navara D23 will remain in countries like the Philippines for a few more years. It could get a minor refresh or a new Pro PHEV variant from China.
Now, it seems that Nissan Philippines is begging buyers to buy their pickup truck. With a starting price of around ₱1.1 million, it seems like they really want to keep Navara sales alive in the country.
