The two people who were caught on CCTV using the credit cards of a missing business couple in Taguig have surrendered to the police. According to the CIDG-NCR, the suspects came forward voluntarily after being identified by authorities in Recto, Manila.
The suspects were caught on video buying cellphones at malls in Quezon City and Cavite using Henry Pantollana's credit card. The male suspect also allegedly withdrew money using the same card.
The woman identified herself as Hazel Pantollana, who is said to be Henry's sister. They defended themselves by saying they only bought the credit cards from a dealer in Quezon City and were not involved in the disappearance of the victims.
It can be recalled that Henry and his wife Margie along with their business partner Richard Cadiz have been missing since July. A few days after they disappeared, a series of suspicious transactions using their cards were noticed, including the purchase of cellphones and the withdrawal of money amounting to thousands of pesos.
T<he two suspects will be charged with violating the Access Devices Regulation Act. Police are continuing their investigation to determine if they are related to the disappearance of the three businessmen. The CIDG is calling on the public to provide information that could help in the case.<
