The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) has filed 70 cases against former Bamban, Tarlac mayor Alice Guo and her family. They are accused of using fake documents in connection with their businesses and properties in Marilao, Bulacan.
Among those charged are Shiela Leal (sister), Seimen (sister) and Lin Wen Yi (who was with their father). According to the NBI, they submitted fake articles of incorporation, secretary’s certificate, and general information sheet for six companies: QJJ Group of Companies, QSeed Genetics, QJJ Meat Shop, QJJ Slaughter House, QJJ Smelting Plant and QJJ Embroidery Center.
The NBI considers that the Guo family committed 30 counts of falsification of public documents. There are also 30 counts of violation of the Anti-Dummy Law for claiming to be Filipino citizens in business documents even though evidence shows that they are Chinese nationals.
In addition, there are an additional 4 cases of falsification for forging details in the business permits and building permits of their companies. Guo has a separate 6 cases of falsification after allegedly forging the deed of sale and documentary stamp of a 4,636 sqm land in Bulacan that he purchased on October 5, 2010 for ₱2,000,000.
