The US Embassy announced that 28 colleges and universities from America are offering opportunities for Filipino students to study in the US. The EducationUSA University Fair will be held on Sept. 28 at One Ayala Mall, Makati from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Admission is free and open to all students, parents, and educators. You can pre-register online for faster entry to the event.
Participating schools include renowned universities and community colleges from various states in the US. The event aims to provide direct information about academic programs and scholarship opportunities for Filipinos.
According to US Chargé d’Affaires Robert Ewing, last year, a total of 4,100 Filipino students studied in the United States — the highest number in 15 years. This equates to nearly ₱246 million in tuition and other expenses.
Ewing added that more Filipinos are being encouraged to study in America to experience world-class education and achieve their dreams.
