TWICE is set to release a new song titled “Like 1,” written by Taka and Toru of popular Japanese rock band ONE OK ROCK. The song will be part of their sixth Japanese mini-album ENEMY, which will be released on August 27, 2025.
On July 24, 2025, TWICE announced the track list of their upcoming album. Among the producers and contributors were Taka and Toru, who both wrote the closing track “Like 1.” In addition, Jihyo, TWICE's leader, is also credited with the song's lyrics.
This is Toru's first time writing for a K-pop act. Meanwhile, Taka has previously composed and produced for various artists, including F.T. Island (“Primavera,” “My Birthday”), Aimer (“Higher ground,” “Stars in the rain”), and most recently BTS Jin for the song “Falling.” Toru has worked for Japanese artists such as Milet and singer-songwriter YU-KA.
ENEMY is the follow-up to the album DIVE, which was released on July 17, 2024, which included songs like “DIVE,” “Here I Am,” and “Hare Hare.”
