An SUV in Novaliches, Quezon City has drawn criticism after allegedly parking in a slot reserved for 7-Eleven customers and delivery trucks.
According to the Facebook page “Parkeserye,” a Montero was spotted in the parking area of a convenience store at Caltex Gas Station, Barangay Sauyo. There were signs attached to the windshield, front and rear windows of the vehicle.
The sign reads:
“If you are going to park for more than 30 minutes, don't park here. This is for the store's customers and delivery trucks. Find your own parking space!”
The post garnered 3,300 likes and reactions and 400 comments. Many netizens liked it. One said, “Very good! All windows should be installed so that it sinks into the mind.” Another commented, “That's right! That's for business, not just for parking.”
Parking slots in front of businesses are usually for customers. Businesses have the right to reserve parking for their patrons. This is also to prevent traffic and congestion on the road.
