A 42-year-old man was shot and killed in Barangay Western Bicutan, Taguig City on Sunday night. According to police, the incident occurred around 6 p.m. while the victim was walking in the area.
He was shot three times by an unidentified man. He was hit in the head, shoulder, and left hand. According to Police Capt. Jowel Golimlim of Taguig City Police Substation 2, the victim was approached and shot at random.
One of the reasons considered for the crime is the victim's relationship with illegal drugs. The investigation by authorities is still ongoing.
The identity of the perpetrator is still unknown and residents around the scene of the incident are being questioned.
Police are encouraging those who witnessed the incident to cooperate in order to immediately identify and apprehend the perpetrator.
