The Air Jordan 40 has officially been released to celebrate 40 years of Jordan footwear. After being leaked last week, full details and eight official images of the new shoe have been revealed. The model features full-length ZoomX cushioning, along with a Zoom Strobel unit, so it's sure to be fast and comfortable. The design of the number 40 is reflected in the special logo that is all 40-degree angles, as well as a unique traction pattern for quick movements.
There are nine colorways coming next year, each with a unique upper material. The first colorway, dubbed “The Classic”, is set to release on July 12 for $200 USD. Its look is simple yet modern, reflecting Jordan Brand’s forty-year history.
Upon first glance, you'll notice a clean toe cap, a smooth base, and a detailed eyestay that wraps around to the heel. Full specs haven't been announced yet, but the midsole clearly shows ZoomX branding, hinting at advanced cushioning.
Stay tuned for further updates as we continue to monitor the official release of the new Air Jordan 40.
