The photo of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. inspecting the burned-out San Francisco High School in Quezon City has become a hot topic online. It was posted on his official Facebook page on June 18, 2025 and quickly went viral.
The photo shows Marcos with Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) personnel, pointing at something off-camera. But many netizens questioned whether it was AI-generated or edited.

One of the commenters said, "You're welcome BBM, the firefighter broke through the wall," while others wondered why the photo needed to be changed. Someone also said, "It would be better if AI edited it."
The said school was burned down on June 15, a day before school began. The Dao Building, which houses eight classrooms for Grades 9 and 10, was destroyed. Marcos was accompanied on the visit by DepEd Secretary Sonny Angara and QC Mayor Joy Belmonte.

Some netizens defended the photo and shared a video report of the actual visit as proof that it is real and not edited. But the debate continues over whether the photo is real or fake.
