The three people were injured after a collision between two motorcycles on Visayas Avenue, Quezon City, early morning on Friday, June 13, 2025. According to CCTV, a motorcycle slowly turned left from Tandang Sora and after passing a tricycle, it collided with an oncoming motorcycle with a rider. The riders were thrown onto the road.
In the cellphone video, the rider wearing a white t-shirt is seen lying down while his passenger, who happens to be his coworker at a mall, sits next to him. Not far away, another rider wearing a black t-shirt is also seen crying.
The rescue teams immediately arrived and brought the victims to the hospital. According to Flordiliza De Ocampo of Barangay Vasra, they first helped the person in white because he was unconscious and there was a lot of blood on his head. The crying rider has a wound on his forehead, while another rider wearing a green shirt has scratches on his elbow and eyebrow.
De Ocampo added that the area where the accident occurred is frequently hit. He said it was possible to make a U-turn in that area, but one should slowly. The first rider may not have noticed the oncoming motorcycle after giving way to the tricycle.
One of the injured has been discharged from the hospital while the conditions of the other two riders are chine-checked. The QCPD Traffic Sector 6 is still investigating the incident.
