A 27-year-old woman who worked as a crew at Turks Shawarma in Quezon City was found dead this Sunday morning. According to police, the body of the victim, alias Lyka, was stabbed and found on the kitchen floor of the store.
Ang itinuturong suspek ay si alyas Eduard, 22-anyos at dating crew ng Turks. Tumakas ito matapos ang insidente. Nahanap sa crime scene ang ilang gamit ni Eduard gaya ng ID, wallet, ATM cards, at P1,000 cash. Mayroon ding dalawang kitchen knife, cellphone, at t-shirt na iniwan.
According to the investigation, at around 9 p.m. on Saturday, May 3, the suspect entered the store. Based on CCTV footage, Eduard forcibly pulled the victim into the kitchen and stabbed her repeatedly before fleeing.
The crime was discovered by Lyka's coworker, alias Pastoral, when he came in for his shift the next day. He was shocked to see the victim dead.
The investigation into the motive for the crime is still ongoing. Personal enmity or jealousy is suspected as the possible cause but is still being investigated by authorities.
