Before the Lenten break, Kawasaki unveiled the CORLEO, a unique four-legged mobility concept that looks like something out of a sci-fi movie. The CORLEO is a personal transport vehicle that looks like a robotic pony. It aims to combine the fun of off-road motorcycling and the innovative technology of advanced robotics.
According to Kawasaki, the CORLEO has handling and stability like a motorcycle, and its front end has a sportbike fairing. Surprisingly, its 150cc engine is similar to that of underbone motorcycles, but instead of gasoline, it uses hydrogen to generate electricity. This electricity powers electric motors that act on each independent leg, offering a new eco-friendly way of off-road mobility.
Although still just a concept, CORLEO challenges the view that the joy of motorcycling is limited to two wheels. Kawasaki believes that in the future, personal mobility will take on a completely new form, similar to horseback riding.
