Lucasfilm has officially released the full trailer for The Mandalorian & Grogu, which is set to hit theaters on May 22, 2026. It immediately sparked social media outrage due to a shocking revelation: Din Djarin can be seen without a helmet while fighting. With the character played by Pedro Pascal, it is clear that the story will be more personal and emotional, especially in his mission to protect Grogu amidst the increasing danger in space.
In the trailer, Din Djarin is seen wounded and exposed as he faces powerful foes, including a new threat, Rotta the Hutt—son of the infamous Jabba. The character is voiced by Jeremy Allen White, who brings a new energy to the world of the Hutts.
