Interested stakeholders may attend from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Philippine Trade Training Center in Pasay. Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. to facilitate the entry process.
Currently, housekeepers in Metro Manila receive a monthly salary of P7,000, in accordance with the latest minimum wage order which took effect on January 4, 2025.
The hearing aims to examine and discuss possible wage increases, and ensure that the rights and welfare of domestic workers are protected. The gathering is open to the public and all interested in the sector are encouraged to participate.
It is hoped that the discussion will be transparent and meaningful, which will lead to fair and equitable compensation for domestic workers while supporting productivity in the NCR.
