The Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants 2026 will be announced in Hong Kong for the first time on March 25, organizers said. The event will bring together top chefs, restaurateurs, and food media from across Asia to celebrate excellence in the region's culinary scene.
The event's program, in partnership with the Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB), will feature industry forums, collaborative dining experiences, and chefs’ feasts using local ingredients. On the final night, an awards ceremony will be held to recognize the best restaurants and chefs in Asia.
According to Anthony Lau, executive director of HKTB, the event showcases Hong Kong's status as a global dining destination. “We invite top chefs and tastemakers from Asia to celebrate the excellence of the culinary scene,” said Lau.
The Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants list is voted on by over 350 restaurant experts in the region, has equal representation of gender, and is independently adjudicated by Deloitte. In addition to the Top 50, an extended list from 51 to 100 and special awards for excellence and innovation will also be announced.
Countdown of Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants, sponsored by S.Pellegrino & Acqua Panna, will be broadcast live on YouTube for the entire world.
