The ultra-rare 1970 Porsche 914 Targa is currently up for auction at SBX Cars, and is a one-of-one car. It was personally selected by Porsche Cars Great Britain for a 500-hour factory restoration, in celebration of Porsche's 70th anniversary.
The car stands out with its exclusive Liquid Silver (POR9S8) paint, inspired by the Porsche 918 Spyder, and comes with 70th Anniversary decals and black bumper trim. This is the only factory-restored Porsche 914 built by the manufacturer.
Under the hood, sits a completely rebuilt 1.7-liter air-cooled flat-four engine with Bosch D-Jetronic fuel injection, producing approximately 80 horsepower and 98 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to a rebuilt five-speed manual transaxle, supported by sport suspension and four-wheel disc brakes for refined driving dynamics.
Inside, you'll find black leather bucket seats, VDO gauges, and a custom center console with Bluetooth audio integration and Classic Vehicle Tracking System. It also has a commemorative engraved plaque that attests to the vehicle's unique factory provenance.
Now for sale at SBX Cars, this 1970 Porsche 914 Targa is a true piece of automotive history, combining 1970s mid-engined balance and modern Porsche craftsmanship.
