The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) is investigating the abduction angle in the case of missing bride-to-be Sherra de Juan, who has not been seen for almost three weeks.
According to De Juan, he boarded a UV Express van in Quezon City on December 10, the day he disappeared. Aside from the driver, there were two men also aboard the van.
De Juan said that he left their house in Barangay North Fairview to buy shoes for a wedding scheduled for December 14, but his plans changed. His last memory was waking up in Mangaldan, Pangasinan.
De Juan said that he wandered around Pangasinan until he was found by a concerned citizen “Rodel” in Sison, Pangasinan. According to his fiancé, Mark Arjay Reyes, De Juan was crying when he called and said it seemed like he had escaped and someone had helped him.
QCPD director Col. Randy Glenn Silvio ordered the verification of De Juan's statements and the coordination with Sison police for a parallel investigation. According to the QCPD doctor, De Juan has acid-peptic disease (dyspepsia) and often drinks only water while in Pangasinan. He is being given time to recover before continuing the investigation.
