The juice factory and warehouse in Barangay 95, Caloocan City was destroyed by fire past 4 a.m. on Sunday, December 21.
The fire reached third alarm, prompting more than 20 fire trucks and fire volunteers to respond to the blaze.
Firefighters had a hard time because of the amount of flammable materials such as plastic and chemicals inside the factory.
Since it was Sunday, no school and only the caretaker was inside when the fire started. According to the Bureau of Fire Protection, the caretaker was able to evacuate immediately so no one was injured.
According to several eyewitnesses, employees had a Christmas party the night before the incident. Authorities are still investigating the cause of the fire and the cost of damage.
