The popular South Korean dessert chain Dessert 39 is set to open its first branch in Southeast Asia this December at SM Mall of Asia in Pasay City, according to its local operator.
Located on the second floor of Entertainment Mall, the new store will offer their signature pastries, drinks, and grab-and-go style. It is being brought to the country by Bistro Group, known for bringing international food brands.
Established in 2015 on Gyeongridan-gil, Itaewon, Dessert 39 has grown to over 700 stores in South Korea. It is famous for its croissant-based pastries, roll cakes, and iced coffee, as well as its sustainability efforts such as the use of reusable tumblers.
Expected products include Croissant Choux, Premium Tokyo Roll Cake, and other pastries that go well with brewed coffee. They also have ready-to-heat rice bowls, pastas, and sandwiches.

The drinks menu features the Einspänner, their famous iced Americano with whipped cream and brown sugar, as well as the Brown Sugar Pong Latte made with sweetened milk and Jolly Pong cereal. They also have the Slim collection of zero-calorie drinks like the Zero Lemon Black Tea and Slim Real Chocolate which uses allulose.
The exact opening date has not yet been announced. Updates will be posted on their Philippine social media accounts.
