The new Andrew x Salomon XT-6 brings a unique design inspired by the vibrant culture of Miami and its famous food, the Florida stone crab. This is the first time that Salomon and Miami-based shop Andrew have teamed up to give a new look to the popular XT-6 silhouette.
The orange–cream-black color scheme was chosen as a tribute to the look and texture of the stone crab. The mix of coral, cream, and taupe is seen as the color of the crab's shell and flesh. There are also metallic accents inspired by the silver trays used in seafood spots in Miami. citrus green is also added as a reminder of lime and lemon wedges, while the icy sock-liner represents the ice on which the crab claws are placed.
The Andrew x Salomon XT-6 will be released on December 4 at Andrew's online store. This will be followed by a global release on December 8 at Salomon's official website.
