Cassandra Ong, representative of Lucky South 99 POGO, was last traced to Japan after she was released from detention, according to PAOCC. PAOCC spokesperson Winston Casio said they had seen Ong's movements in Japan earlier this year.
Ong, who was considered the authorized representative of the now-closed POGO hub in Porac, Pampanga, was not monitored again after that. According to Casio, Ong's warrant of arrest was issued in March or May, but he had already left the country before the hold departure order was issued.
Ong, Bamban Mayor Alice Guo, and Sheila Guo were arrested in Indonesia as "suspicious foreigners." They were deported back to the Philippines to face immigration charges, including illegal exit.
Sen. Sherwin Gatchalian said Ong was released between the end of the 19th Congress and the beginning of the 20th Congress because there were no cases against him at the time. Now, he is wanted for a qualified human trafficking case, in which Duterte's former spokesperson Harry Roque is also an accused.
Following this, PAOCC said that Ong already has an Interpol Red Notice and they are coordinating with other law enforcement agencies to locate and return him to the Philippines. The cancellation of his passport is still pending with the Department of Foreign Affairs.
