The Iglesia ni Cristo (INC) strongly denied any involvement in Zaldy Co's allegations against President Marcos.
According to the INC, they did not obtain any information from Co or contact him for his statement. “We have nothing to do with this,” said INC spokesperson Edwil Zabala.
Zaldy Co, former Ako Bicol party-list congressman, has already released two parts of his “revelations,” in which he accused President Marcos of accepting ₱25 billion kickbacks from a ₱100 billion project in the 2025 General Appropriations Act.
Malacañang reminded Co that his allegations are baseless and that he should return to the country to face the case against him.
INC ay kasalukuyang nagsasagawa ng tatlong araw na “Rally for Transparency and a Better Democracy” sa Quirino Grandstand sa Maynila, na dinaluhan ng tinatayang 650,000 katao.
