
TikTok Shop will implement an additional P5 order processing fee starting December 1. According to an email to their sellers, the fee aims to improve the shopping experience and support the growth of the platform.
Initially, to mitigate the impact on sellers, only P3 will be charged on the first day of December, until further notice. The fee is fixed per order, regardless of the number of items or the total amount of the order.
TikTok Shop continues to introduce new tools and features, including an AI assistant, to better serve users and sellers.
In the past five years, the e-commerce market in the Philippines has grown by almost 400%, so TikTok Shop continues to expand as one of the largest online selling platforms in the country.
This move is part of their plan for sustainable growth and a smoother shopping experience for customers.
