The Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) reported a significant increase in its revenue in the first nine months of 2025. Its net income reached ₱14.32 billion, up 49% compared to ₱9.63 billion last year.
According to PAGCOR, total revenue from January to September 2025 reached ₱84.09 billion, an increase of 5.87% from ₱79.43 billion in 2024. Of this, ₱75.93 billion came from gaming operations, while ₱8.16 billion came from other services and income.
Recently, a PAGCOR official reported a decline in revenue starting August 2025 due to the separation of online gambling platforms from e-wallets and a decrease in the number of new players.
Despite this, PAGCOR's total contribution to nation-building still increased by 11% to reach ₱54.26 billion. Of this amount, ₱36.06 billion went to the national government and ₱11 billion was allocated for social projects.
Among those who received funds were the Philippine Sports Commission with ₱1.80 billion, Renewable Energy Trust Fund with ₱201.47 million, and Board of Claims with ₱142.42 million.
