The Conjuring Prequel Film is currently in production following the huge success of Last Rites, which was initially announced as the final film in the main series.
According to the report, Rodrigue Huart is likely to direct the film, while Richard Naing and Ian Goldberg, who also wrote several previous films in the series, will rewrite the script. There are no details yet on whether Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson will return as Ed and Lorraine Warren.
This news is no longer surprising because Last Rites earned approximately ₱28 billion at the global box office, which is the highest in the entire Conjuring franchise.
Along with the new prequel, a Conjuring series is also being made to air on HBO, so it seems like the scares for fans are still ongoing.
