The new Ducati Monster 2026 has been officially launched, using the latest 890cc V2 engine that is the same as the Panigale, Streetfighter, and Multistrada. It replaces the previous 937cc Testastretta twin engine to comply with Euro5+ emission standards.
The engine is now lighter at 175kg (empty tank) and has a power of 109.4hp at 9000rpm and 67.2lb.ft of torque at 7250rpm. Although slightly less than the old version, the traction on the road is better. 80% of its power is used from 4000 to 10,000rpm. There is also an option for a Termignoni exhaust for a louder sound.
It is available in Ducati Red and Iceberg White colors and will arrive in European dealers by February 2026. Prices start at around ₱870,000, and there is an A2 license version for beginners on a budget.
Ducati also used a front frame design for a more rigid chassis. There is Showa suspension, Brembo brakes, and Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV tires that are suitable for sporty road riding. The standard seat height is 815mm but can be lowered to 775mm with accessories.
Also included are modern electronics such as traction control, wheelie control, cornering ABS, quickshifter, and cruise control. There is a 5-inch TFT display with navigation and joystick control. There are four riding modes: Sport, Road, Urban, and Wet. The manual key is still traditional, something that purist riders will love.
