
A Dutch man was arrested in Caloocan City after being caught making and selling materials related to child sexual abuse. According to the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), four victims were involved, including three minors.
The operation began on August 18 after the Dutch National Police sent information about a foreigner who was producing and distributing exploitation materials. Based on a warrant of arrest, the man was caught in the act of committing illegal activities.
Several devices and materials containing videos and images of abuse were seized from him. He is facing violation of RA 11930 (Anti-Online Sexual Abuse or Exploitation of Children Act) and RA 9208 (Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act of 2003).
The suspect was brought to the NBI office for the usual investigation process. In simultaneous operations, five victims were rescued, including four minors from Caloocan and Rodriguez, Rizal.
The victims are currently under the care of the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO) while the investigation against the foreigner continues.
