YouTube has launched Premium Lite in the Philippines. In the new service, most videos are ad-free, but there are still ads on music, Shorts, and when users search or browse.
Premium Lite is now available for P109 per month on all devices.
The service was created to make viewing with almost no ads more affordable for more Filipinos.
Users will be able to watch videos more comfortably and with less interruption from advertisements, especially regular videos on YouTube.
The goal of the platform is for more Filipinos to experience ad-free viewing without having to spend a lot of money.
