A 15-year-old girl and her two cousins, both 20 years old, were found dead after being tortured in a so-called “House of Horrors” in Argentina. The gruesome crime was livestreamed on social media as a warning from a drug gang.
The victims were last seen on CCTV on September 19, 9:29 p.m., riding in a white pickup truck. Investigation revealed that they were killed 6 to 10 hours after the said time. Police found their bodies around 3 a.m., buried behind a house. Due to the severe mutilation, they were identified by their tattoos and clothing.
According to authorities, before the girl was killed, five fingers on her left hand were cut off and one ear was also cut off before her neck was stabbed. One of the victims was beaten in the face and her neck was broken, while the other was stabbed in the neck, beaten to death, and then stomped open even after she was dead.
Four people were arrested for the crime. One of them, a woman, confessed to being involved in the murder but the leader of the drug syndicate and his group were the real masterminds. The leader escaped and is still being sought. According to police, the victims befriended some members of the syndicate and went to the house thinking there was a party, but it turned out to be a trap.
The alleged reason for the mass killings was the alleged stealing of drugs by one of the victims from the gang leader. The leader planned the killing and livestreamed it to serve as a warning. Up to 45 people watched on Instagram. The gang leader also said: “This is what will happen to anyone who steals drugs from me.”
