A 33-year-old man was shot dead by unidentified assailants on Katipunan Avenue, Barangay Loyola Heights, Quezon City past 5:30 a.m. on Wednesday.
In the initial police report, it appears that the victim's motorcycle was stolen by the suspects who were riding the motorcycle or what is called riding-in-tandem.
The victim was hit by a bullet in the back and back of the hip. According to Jessie Mirasol, head of the emergency response team in Loyola Heights, they found the man on all fours and without a pulse when they arrived at the scene.
The police investigation and backtracking are still ongoing to determine who the perpetrators are and to find them as soon as possible.
