Actress Chie Filomeno has called on the public to stop spreading rumors about her personal life. News has emerged about her alleged separation from Jake Cuenca and speculation linking her to a businessman from a prominent family.
In her social media post, Chie said: “I have been reading and hearing these news for a long time. I request that my past relationship, my current life, and the businessman’s family not be brought into the mix because they have nothing to do with this.”
He added that he wanted to remind everyone to stop judging and scheming. “I have nothing else to say. I just want understanding and respect from everyone. Yes, I am an artist but I am not owned by the public. I hope my personal life remains private,” he stated.
In August 2023, Chie confirmed that she was dating Jake. She said, “It's good with Jake because he knows my priorities and he doesn't rush me.” Meanwhile, in an interview in 2024, Jake described Chie as his TOTGA (The One That Got Away) and revealed that they had dated before getting back together.
However, according to Jake, it didn't last long because he was still busy with various things in his life. “Back then, I was more wild. But now I'm more balanced and more organized. I thought the timing was perfect then, but now it's more right,” he said.
