Audi has unveiled the new Concept C, a concept car that will serve as the beginning of a new design language for all of its cars. It draws heavily from the famous Audi TT, as well as several models produced from the 1930s to the 2000s.
At the front, the vertical grille with the Four Rings logo is striking. Its inspiration comes from the Auto Union Type C (1936) and Audi A6 (2004). Because of this, the bumper and emblem have a more boxy and strong look.
The Concept C seats two with a retractable hard-top roof, but its appearance remains sleek. The rear fenders are fitted with wide 21-inch wheels, inspired by the six-spoke wheels of the first TT. The headlights and taillights are dynamic and change depending on the day or night.
Inside, the emphasis is on clarity or simplicity and functionality. The dashboard is straightforward, with a digital gauge cluster, a infotainment tablet that is hidden, and a touch bar for quick access. There is Audi Click on the buttons with haptic feedback, while ambient lighting provides a warm and clean feel.
Audi has confirmed that the Concept C will go into production and will be the start of a new design language for all of its vehicles. The design revealed is sure to bring a new direction for the brand's future.
