A service dog named Bingo was allegedly caught being mistreated by his handler inside a compound in Pasig City. The incident was captured on video on Wednesday afternoon.
According to what Nicole saw, she initially thought the dog and the handler were just playing. But she noticed that the dog was being grabbed by the neck, lifted by the collar, and even slapped. She immediately reported it to the compound guard.
The company that owns the handler confirmed that this happened while the dog was undergoing a daily proficiency test. The handler was immediately placed on preventive suspension and will undergo retraining and reassessment.
The company assured that Bingo is in good condition and has no injury. The spokesperson also said that they will continue to monitor Bingo's condition and ensure that the animals in their operation are treated with respect and care.
