The two police officers in Marikina were immediately removed from their posts after a female police officer complained that they exploited. The suspects are a staff sergeant and a patrolman who are both now disarmed while being investigated.
According to the complaint, the female police officer was on duty when two suspects approached her. They invited her to have coffee. She initially refused, but the police officers insisted and promised to buy her only coffee.
They went to a convenience store but the suspects bought alcohol for about ₱150 instead of coffee. Upon returning to the patrol car, they forced the victim to drink and threatened that he would not be reinstated to his post if he refused.
Afterwards, the victim said that she was touched and later raped inside the patrol car. As a result, a case of rape and acts of lasciviousness was filed against the two police officers.
Following the complaint, they were immediately removed from their positions while a thorough investigation into the incident continues.
