The death of a 20-year-old woman is being investigated after she was found dead inside a bus with 26 iPhones attached to her body.
According to the report, the woman was traveling from Foz do Iguaçu to São Paulo, Brazil when she experienced difficulty breathing, collapsed, and later died.
Medical responders tried to save him for more than an hour, but he was pronounced dead due to cardiac arrest. An examination found 26 iPhones attached to his skin and several bottles of alcohol in his luggage.
The woman is believed to have intended to smuggle the iPhones, which are estimated to be worth ₱1.3 million (₱50,000 each). Authorities have seized the gadgets for investigation.
The forensic report is currently awaited to determine the true cause of his difficulty breathing and death.
